About

Gisa Seeholzer, Literary Agent

At Inspired Ink Literary, we believe every story has the power to inspire, transform, and endure. Founded by Gisa Seeholzer, a passionate literary agent with a deep appreciation for timeless narratives, Inspired Ink is dedicated to discovering and nurturing talented writers in Historical Fiction, Literary Fiction, and Creative Nonfiction—especially works rooted in nature and philosophy. We seek compelling voices and powerful storytelling that spark imagination and offer meaningful reflections on the world around us.

Inspired Ink is a mission-driven, underdog agency working to reshape the future of publishing by championing self-published and overlooked authors—especially those with important stories but limited reach. We believe that great storytelling shouldn't be reserved for those with marketing budgets or viral platforms, and that traditional publishing should make room for voices that have gone unheard.

Our mission is to amplify unique voices and connect them with readers eager for fresh, meaningful narratives. Gisa’s personalized approach to agenting focuses on building strong, collaborative relationships with authors, guiding them through every step of the publishing process. From initial concept to final manuscript, she ensures that each story is crafted with care and precision, helping it reach its full potential.

As we grow, Inspired Ink is exploring the possibility of bringing on a second agent who shares our values and vision for a more inclusive, author-centered literary landscape.

Previously, Gisa wrote for Edible Ojai and Ventura County Magazine, where she focused on community, the environment, freshly grown foods, and small businesses. Her work reflected her passion for highlighting the intersection of local culture and the natural world, exploring how both can be woven into meaningful stories.

Gisa is also on the Board of Directors for Books in the Woods, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting literacy for children, teens, and adults. Her work on the board focuses on fostering neurodivergent inclusion, accessibility, and a love for reading. Through her involvement, she helps create a welcoming space for individuals of all ages to connect with literature and expand their horizons.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology, Gisa is driven by a passion for combining literature and nature as powerful educational resources. She believes that both the written word and the natural world offer transformative learning experiences, enriching the lives of readers and deepening their connection to the environment.

At Inspired Ink, we take pride in representing voices that matter, whether they are emerging authors or seasoned writers seeking new opportunities. We are committed to fostering creativity, supporting literary innovation, and championing works that make an impact.Join us on a journey where words inspire, stories come to life, and your voice is heard. Inspired Ink —where your story begins.
