Payment Policy
At Inspired Ink Literary, we are committed to supporting authors throughout the entire process of their literary journey. As a professional literary agency, we believe in fostering mutually beneficial relationships built on trust, respect, and passion for storytelling.
We do not require any upfront fees from authors. Our agency operates on a commission-based model, meaning we only earn a percentage of the proceeds from successful book deals we secure for our clients. This percentage is agreed upon in the standard agency agreement and is only applicable after a contract with a publisher is signed and the author begins to receive payments.
Our commitment to you is simple: we will work diligently to represent your work, promote it to the right publishers, and negotiate the best possible terms—all at no initial cost to you. If you ever encounter any agency that demands upfront fees for reading your work, editing, or any other services, we encourage you to approach them with caution, as this may be a red flag.
We believe in the value of your work, and our success is tied to your success. Our goal is to help you achieve your publishing dreams without any financial burden before that success is realized.
