Inspired Ink is growing.

We are a mission-driven literary agency committed to compelling voices, powerful storytelling, and books that spark imagination, empathy, and conversation. Our current list includes literary fiction, creative nonfiction, and historical fiction—with a focus on narratives rooted in truth, transformation, and resonance.

We’re now seeking to welcome another agent (or agents) who share our vision and values. This is a commission-based opportunity with the potential to grow your list in a collaborative, purposeful environment.

We’re especially interested in agents with a focus on:

Upmarket Commercial Fiction
(Character-driven stories with broad appeal and emotional depth—ideal for book clubs and general trade.)
Speculative Fiction
(Magical realism, climate fiction, surreal or genre-blending narratives grounded in strong prose.)
Narrative Memoir / Essay Collections
(Lived experience told with clarity and craft, ideally with a growing platform or public presence.)

The Ideal Candidate

Whether you’re an experienced agent or someone newer to the field with a strong editorial eye and clear sense of voice, you may be a great fit if you:

Care deeply about the writers and communities you serve
Champion meaningful, original work
Bring strong communication, organization, and follow-through
Value collaboration, trust, and long-term author relationships
Are excited to help shape the next generation of impactful literature

This role is commission-only with a standard split. You’ll have access to shared submission tools, agency infrastructure, and an established, values-aligned brand.
